AB - The researcher used the experimental design as the research sample was divided into two groups ;the experimental group studied the course prepared with generative learning model where as the control group studied the course with the traditional way. Research tools represented in an achievement test to measure female students' achievement at home clothing and furnishings curriculum , a pre and post observation note card habits of mind and a self-assessment scale habits of hind were applied . The research found that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students in the experimental group and control group concerning achievement and habits of hind for the benefit of the experimental group. There is also a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of students in the experimental group in each of the pre and post achievement and habits of hind for the benefit of the pre- test. The research has several recommendations and one of them is: using generative learning model to formulate curriculums to female students of the Faculty of Specific Education as a teaching strategy within teacher qualifying programs at the Faculty of Specific Education and holding workshops to train teachers on this strategy.
