AU - عاصلة، وائل محمد AB - This study aimed at revealing the social intelligence and conflict management strategies among high intact students, and those with problematic behavior in the secondary stage. The sample of the study consisted of (439) male female students clustered randomly selected from the secondary stage students of Al-Galilee district in Palestine during scholastic year 2013/2014. To achieve the aims of the study a Sternberg social intelligence and Ting – Toomey conflict management strategies scales were administered. The results of the study revealed that the level of social intelligence among intact students and those with problematic behavior was high, where the integrating strategy was mostly used among them, and the neglected one was the least used. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of social intelligence, due to gender in all scale domains, except the search for knowledge one, in the favor of the females, and there were statistical significant differences in the level of social intelligence due to the student's category in the favor of intact students, and no statistical significant differences due to the interaction between gender and the student's category. The results also revealed that there were statistical significant differences between male s and females in integrating, emotional expressions, and neglect strategies, and between intact students and those with problematic in dominating, and neglect strategies. And there were statistical significant differences between integrating, dominating, and obliging strategies due to the level of social intelligence.
