AB - The research aims to identify the effectiveness of social networking on social skills for deaf students in the various stages of education in Jeddah, The research followed the descriptive and analytical approach. The literature review and previous studies were revised،then a list of social skills for the Deaf was extracted. An assessment questionnaire of the social networks that deaf students use was prepared. The researcher also prepared social skills scale for assessing the role of social networks in the development of self-concept, friendship،contact and communication, belonging ،citizenship and personal relationships from the point of view of deaf students. The research sample consisted of (30) deaf students. Results were analyzed statistically to answer the research questions. The results showed that the evaluative relative importance of the students' use of social networks was (74.5%), which refers to the large proportion of students using those networks. Snapchat ranked first at a rate of (100%), followed by Instagram by (91.7%) and then WhatsApp and Twitter by (90%) and finally Facebook Messenger by (85%). The results also showed a relatively impact of social networks of (74%) on self-concept and friendship for the Deaf, (79.2%) on the contact and communication for the deaf, and (77.1%) on belonging and citizenship and personal relationships for the Deaf. The research concluded to the most important recommendations that can contribute in the employment of social networking in improving the quality of life for deaf students.
