AB - This study aims to investigate the impact of the use of brainstorming strategy in the development of the Arabic language skills of the preparatory year students at King Abdulaziz University and attitudes towards it. To achieve the objectives of the study, the sample consisted of 131 students, were divided into two groups: experimental studied way of brainstorming, the officer studied the traditional way, the study consisted tools achievement test, and measure trends, and after checking the Sedkhma and Thbat hma, was applied to the sample before begin the process of teaching, after the completion of them. The results indicated the presence of significant differences between mean scores of experimental and control groups on the achievement test posttest for the experimental group, and in favor of brainstorming on the students' attitudes toward learning strategy scale Arabic language. The study recommended by calling for the use of brainstorming strategy in the teaching of Arabic language branches, to be effectiv e, low cost, and its positive impact on attainment.
