هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع الخدمات التربوية التي تقدم في غرف المصادر للطلبة ذوي صعوبات التعلّم بالمرحلة الأساسية في محافظة إربد من وجهة نظر أولياء الأمور، ومدى توافر تلك الخدمات. وطبقت الدراسة على عينة مكونة من 384 من الآباء والأمهات استجابوا لمقياس أعّده الباحث يتكون من 27 فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات هي: المشاركة، والاستكشاف وبيئة التعلّم، والتعزيز، والتقويم. وقد بينت النتائج أن مشاركة الأهل في غرف المصادر كانت بدرجة متوسطة، ويرى أولياء الأمور أن معلمي غرف المصادر يولون اهتماماً أكبر باستراتيجية التقويم، ثم استراتيجيات التعزيز، وأخيراً بيئة التعلّم والاستكشاف. كما بيّنت النتائج أنّ وجهات نظر أولياء الأمور تختلف باختلاف الجنس لصالح الأمهات، وتختلف وجهات النظر باختلاف المدرسة لصالح المدرسة الخاصة. وبناء على تلك النتائج أوصت الدراسة بعدة توصيات. This study aims at examining the effectiveness of educational services in the resource room provided to students with learning disabilities of primary stage in Irbid District from the parents’ point of view. The sample consisted of the parents of those students who have learning disabilities. Those 384 parents have had direct contacts with the resource room they responded to a questionnaire prepared for this study. The questionnaire consisted of 27 items divided into four domains: the parents’ participation, learning environment and discovery, reinforcement methods, and evaluation methods. The results revealed that the teachers used a moderate degree of practicing strategies for arousing curiosity, and they used the first domain of parents’ participation more frequently, then evaluation methods, and then reinforcement methods and finally evaluation methods. The results showed also that there were significant differences in parents’ point of view regarding practicing strategies due to sex in favor of females, and schools’ kind in favor of private schools, but there were no significant differences in parents’ point of view regarding practicing strategies of arousing curiosity due to class level. In the light of the results, the researcher gave some recommendations. (Published abstract)
