The development cognitive thinking skills can have an effective can attribution in developing structures mind of the children and their attention. 1)There is no statistically significant difference between the mean score of the experimental group children who are exposed to the program and that of the control group children who are not exposed to it according to the cognitive thinking skills. 2) There is no statistically significant difference between the mean score of the males and females in experimental group according to the cognitive thinking skills. The study was conducted on a sample of (60) second-year (tamheedi) male and female children in Al-Nidaa kindergarten in Baghdad. The sample subject were randomly distributed in tow groups: an experimental group including (30) children and control group including (30) children. To fulfill the study aims, the researcher constructed a program to developing cognitive thinking skills and conducted it on the experimental group children. An intelligence test was also used for both group. The data were statistically analyzed and processed using T-Test. The following results are arrived at:1.There is a statistically significant difference between the mean score of the experimental group children who are exposed to the program and that of the control group children who are not exposed to it according to the cognitive thinking skills variable at 0.01 significance level.2.There is no statistically significant difference between the mean score of the males and females in experimental group according to the cognitive thinking skills variable at 0.01 significance level. As a continuation for the present study, the researcher has forward a number of recommendations; the researcher has suggested a number of further. (Published abstract)
