هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور المدرسة الثانوية في تنمية الوعي بإدارة الوقت لدى الطلاب كما يراها المشرفون التربويون بمدينة الرياض، من خلال التعرف على دور إدارة المدرسة الثانوية والمعلمين، والأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية الوعي بإدارة الوقت لدى الطلاب من خلال وجهة نظر المشرفين التربويين، واهم السبل والمقترحات لتنمية الوعي بإدارة الوقت لدى الطلاب، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات والمعلومات وتم تطبيق الاستبانة على عينة من المشرفين التربويين بمدينة الرياض بلغ عددهم (202) مشرفا بنسبة 42.7% من إجمالي عدد المشرفين بالرياض والبالغ عددهم (473) مشرفا، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها ما يلي :1) ضعف عملية تخطيط الوقت وإدارته بشكل علمي بالمدارس الثانوية حيث دلت استجابات أفراد العينة على قيام المدرسة الثانوية بدور متوسط في تنمية وعي الطلاب بإدارة الوقت. 2) لا تكافئ إدارة المدرسة الطلاب المحافظين على أوقات الدوام، ولا تقدم علاجا سلوكيا للطلاب الذين اعتادوا على التأخير. 3) قصور إدراك بعض المعلمين لأهمية استثمار الوقت بفاعلية أثناء الحصة والسماح لبعض الطلاب بالخروج عن موضوع الدرس. 4) قلة تخطيط المعلم للحصة وضعف التزامه بالوقت المحدد لكل خطوة من خطوات الدرس. 5) قلة عقد مسابقات ثقافية لتنمية الوعي بإدارة الوقت، وقلة استضافة شخصيات بارزة في إدارة الوقت، وقلة وجود مطويات ولوحات لتوعية الطلاب بأهمية إدارة الوقت. 6) ضعف تفعيل إدارة المدرسة لدور القدوة الصالحة في المحافظة على الوقت، وتنفيذ دورات تدريبية حول إدارة الوقت للمعلمين. The study aimed at identify the role of secondary school in the development of students awareness of time management as seen by educational supervisors in Riyadh, by identifying the role of the management of secondary school teachers, and student activities in the development of awareness of time management among students through the viewpoint of the supervisors, and the most important ways and proposals for the development of awareness of time management among students, and the study used descriptive survey, and the questionnaire as a tool to collect data and information was applied to the questionnaire on a sample of the supervisors in Riyadh numbered (202) supervisor 42.7% of the total number of supervisors in Riyadh's (473) supervisor, and the study found a number of results including the following: 1) the worst time planning management in scientific way at secondary school, where members of the sample showed responses to the average high school role in the development of students' awareness of time management. 2) School management doesn’t reward students’ conservatives on working hours and does not provide a remedy for students who are behaviorally accustomed to delays. 3) Teachers don’t recognize the importance of making use of time effectively during class and allow some students to go out the subject of the lesson. 4) Lack of teacher’s planning for the lesson and ignoring time limit for each step of the lesson. 5) Lack of cultural competitions held to raise awareness of time management, and lack of hosting prominent figures in time management, and lack of presence brochures boards to educate students of the importance of time management. 6) Activating the role of the school administration to be a good example in time use and implement training sessions on time management for teachers.
