هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى الكشف عن مستوى وعي الطلاب لمفهوم العولمة وعلاقتها بتمثلاتهم للهوية الوطنية. ولتحقيق ذلك طور الباحث أداتين: استبانة وعي العولمة واستبانة الهوية الوطنية، وطبقت على عينة من الطلبة الجامعيين مكونة من (246) طالب وطالبة. وأسفرت النتائج عما يلي: 1) يتمتع الطلاب بمستوى وعي متوسط على الدرجة الكلية للأداة وعلى ابعادها الثلاثة (الثقافية، الاقتصادية، الاقتصادية). 2) يتمتع الطلاب مستوى متوسط في تمثل الهوية الوطنية. 3) توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة احصائيا بين مستوى وعي الطلاب للعولمة وتمثلاتهم للهوية الوطنية. 4) عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائيا في مستوى وعي العولة تعزى الى متغير الجنس والمستوى الاكاديمي. في ضوء هذه النتائج طرح الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات ذات العلاقة بموضوع الدراسة. The study aimed at revealing the students’ awareness’s level of the concept globalization and its relation to their representation to the national identity. To realize that the researcher developed two questionnaires one about globalization’s awareness and the second one was about the national identity. Both were applied on a sample of (240) university students (males and females). The result were as follows: 1) The students have moderate level of awareness of the total score of the instrument and on its three dimensions (cultural, economic, and political). 2) The students have a moderate level of the national identity representation. 3)There is a correlation between the level of students’ awareness to globalization and their representations to the national identity. 4) There is no statistically significant differences in the level of the globalization’s awareness attributed to the variable of gender and the academic level.
