The study aimed to determine the smartphones usage by the Jordanian private universities students in teaching in light of quality criteria, In order to achieve the target of the survey, the researcher used the mapping descriptive method, and a questionnaire tool was developed. The aggregated completed questionnaires reached a total of (750) questionnaires, of the study sample individuals for the academic year 2018/2019. The survey results has revealed the high level of smartphones usage by the students of the Jordanian Private Universities, and the average level of the quality standards availability in the Jordanian Universities, The study also showed the statistic differences at the level of significance (a≤0.05), in the usage of smartphones by the students of the Jordanian Private Universities due to the study variable “educational qualification” (B.A, MA), and the differences were in favor of the M.A students. Also, the lake of statistic differences at the level of significance (a≤0.05), in the usage of smartphones by the students of the Jordanian Private Universities due to study variable “Sex” “Male, Female”, The study and recommended to encourage the use of smart phones in the educational process, and activating the use of smart phone to answer the tasks designed through the university's websites that is used as a system model extensively.
