هدف هذا البحث على استقصاء مستوى انقرائية الصور المتضمنة في فصل المحاليل والمخاليط في كتاب العلوم للصف الثاني متوسط من خلال قراءة الطالبات للصورة ومعرفة دلالتها من (اللون- الرمز- اللغة- الفكرة الرئيسة للصورة)، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدمت الباحثة المنهج النوعي، حيث تم جمع بيانات البحث من عينة قدراها 60 طالبة باستخدام أداة اختبار انقرائية الصور المكون من أسئلة مفتوحة. كما تم إجراء مقابلات بعدية مع 10 طالبات للتأكد من صدق استجابات العينة على أسئلة الاختبار وتوضيح الدلالات الأخرى والاشكالات في انقرائية الصورة، وتمت المقارنة بين قراءة الطالبات للصورة من خلال أداة البحث فقط وقراءة الطالبات للصورة في السياق الطبيعي لها مع النص المصاحب من خلال الكتاب المدرسي. وتوصل البحث إلى وجود ضعف في انقرائية بعض الصور حسب قراءة الطالبات لها والتي لم تُقرأ خلال الحصة الدراسية، ووجود مستوى جيد لإنقرائية بعض الصور يصل حده الأعلى إلى 83% للصور التي تخلو من التجريد وتلامس الواقع وكذلك الصور التي تم شرحها وتوضيحها من قبل المعلمة. وعلى ضوء تلك النتائج التفصيلية قدمت الباحثة بعض التوصيات والمقترحات. The aim of this study is investigating the level of Readability of the images included in the chapter of solvents and mixtures are included in the science book for Second grade intermediate by reading the students of the image and the significance of (color -symbol - language - the main idea of the image). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the qualitative approach, where collected Data from a sample was seen by 60 students using a test tool for Readability of images consisting open questions. In addition, we interview 10 students to verify the validity of the sample responses to the test questions and to clarify the other indications and problems in image Readability. The students were compared to the picture through the research tool only and the students read the picture in the normal context with the accompanying text through the textbook. The results of the study indicated: The researcher found that there is a weakness in the Readability of some images according to the reading of the students, which were not read during the course, and the Readability of a good level of the negation of some images up to a high of 83% for images that are free from abstraction and reality, as well as images that have been explained and clarified by the teacher.
