أجريت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على أثر استخدام أنموذج أشور في تحصيل طلبة قسم التاريخ - كلية التربية الأساسية في مادة التاريخ ومفهوم الذات لديهم. واقتصرت عينة البحث على طلبة المرحلة الثالثة في قسم التاريخ حيث تكونت العينة من (64) طالب وطالبة تم تقسيمهم الى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية درست باستخدام أنموذج أشور والأخرى ضابطة درست باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية. وأعدت الباحثة اختبارا تحصيليا يتلاءم مع مفردات المادة الدراسية، كما وأعدت مقياسا لمفهوم الذات تلائم أفراد عينة البحث واعتمدت الباحثة الصدق الظاهري في الحكم على فقرات الاختبار في القبول أو الرفض أو التعديل بعد عرض الأداة على مجموعة من الخبراء ولاستخراج الثبات اعتمدت الباحثة على إعادة الاختبار وبلغ الثبات (0.86). كما تم استخراج ثبات مفهوم الذات أيضا بإعادة الاختبار على العينة الاستطلاعية وبلغ الثبات (0.82) وطبق الاختبار في نهاية التجربة لقياس التحصيل ومفهوم الذات .وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستخدام أنموذج أشور. The study was conducted to identify the model of Assyria and its effect on the students of history department - College of basic education in the subject of history and the essence concept on them. The research sample was limited to the third stage students in the history department. The research was composed of (64) students divided into two groups. The researcher prepared a test to fit the vocabulary of the subject and prepared a measure of self-concept suitable for the members of the research sample. The validity of the test was extracted by presenting it to a group of experts, Stability in a way to re-test and applied the test at the end of the experiment to measure the achievement and the concept of essence results and there are statistically significant between the experimental group and control group differences in favor of the experimental group that studied using the model of Assyria.
