هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية دمج برنامج الكورت لتدريس القراءة في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى طلبة الصف السابع بدولة قطر، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 63 طالبا، حيث تم تدريس المجموعة التجريبيّة من خلال برنامج الكورت الأول (توسيع مجال الإدراك) وتشتمل على 33 طالبا. أمّا المجموعة الضابطة فتم تدريسها وفق الطريقة التقليدية، وتشتمل على 30 طالبا. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة فروقا ذات دلالة إحصائيّة في مستوى أداء طلبة المجموعة التجريبية في مهارات التفكير الناقد في الاختبار البعدي. وفي ضوء النتائج قدّمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات. This study aimed at examining the effectiveness of Integrating CoRT programme for Teaching Reading in Developing Critical Thinking Skills among Qatari Students. The study sample consisted of 63 students. The experimental group, which consisted of 33 students, was taught using the first CoRT Program (Breadth). The control group, which consisted of 30 students, was taught using the traditional method. The study results demonstrated significant statistical differences in the performance level of the experimental group students in critical thinking skills in the post test. A number of recommendations were offered in light of the results of the present study. (Published abstract)
