The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a computerized program in the development of home safety skills for students of mental disability learning in schools Applied for integration in the Governorate of the Interior Sultanate of Oman, the study community consists of (210) students of the mentally integrated pupils enrolled in the schools applied to the program of mental integration in the governorate of the interior, and the study sample consists of (16) students aged (10:6) years of study sample, has been Divided into two groups of officers and pilot each (8) students, and to achieve the goal of the study was prepared a measure of safety skills in the home consists of (8) phrases, and a computerized program for the development of safety skills in the home, was ascertained the sincerity and stability of the tool and validity of the application, and the study found The differences in the statistic function at the indication level (0.05) between the average grades of the experimental group members before and after the application on all the areas of the home safety skills measure for the mentally handicapped to learn in favor of dimensional measurement, as There are statistically significant differences at a level of (0.05) between averages Grades of the experimental group, the group and the officer on all axes of the home safety skills measure for the mentally handicapped who are able to learn for the experimental group in the dimensional measurement, while there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the averages of the experimental group on the measurement Dimensional and accessory for the measure of home safety skills for the mentally handicapped who are able to learn in favor of the tracking measurement. The study recommends transforming life skills lessons into interactive and cartoon programs. (Published abstract)
