توجه الباحث في ضوء الدراسة الحالية إلى تعرف علاقة الدافعية العقلية بالتوافق الاكاديمي لدى طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة القادسية. واختار عينة بلغت (160) طالبا وطالبة من كليات جامعة القادسية اختيروا بالأسلوب العشوائي ذو التوزيع المتساوي. ولأجل تعرف ذلك تم تبني مقياس الدافعية العقلية وبناء مقياس التوافق الاكاديمي، واستخرج لكلا المقياسين خصائص الصدق والثبات، ومن ثم استعمال الوسائل الإحصائية للتوصل الى النتائج. تشير أهم النتائج الى ان طلبة الدراسات العليا يتمتعون بالدافعية العقلية، والتوافق الاكاديمي، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بين المتغيرين. وانهى الباحث دراسته بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات المهمة. This study aims at defining mental motivation and its relation with academic adjustment for graduates of university of Al Qadisiyah. The research consisted from (160) students of university of both sexes chosen randomly, the researcher adopted the scale of Mental motivation and built academic adjustment. The researcher conducted several procedures of which reliability and validity. The results refer to the students of have a high degree of mental motivation, academic adjustment, and a positive relationship between mental motivation and academic adjustment for students of university of Al Qadisiyah.
