The study aimed to identify the reality of the university student's acquisition of the skills of self-learning, and the difficulties it faces, as well as to identify statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) which are attributed to the variables of the study in terms of (gender, specialization, and housing). The study population consists of all students of the fifth semester of the Faculty of Education Basic Education program, (142) in various specialization, a simple random sample of 50 students was selected, the descriptive analytical approach was applied, the descriptive analytical methodology was applied, the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection and analyze by using the SPSS program to calculate the mean, standard deviations, and analysis of variance. The study reached the following important results: The students have activities and experiences of highly discretionary mid-process, the degree students take advantage of the computer in self-learning degree discretionary medium, the degree of students' access to and use of libraries in self-learning was at an intermediate level, there are difficulties faced by students in the acquisition of self-learning skills according to different terms and the degree of discretionary medium, there are no statistically significant due to the variables of the study according to the focus of activities and practical experience for students differences, In terms of (type, specialization, and housing), and there are no differences of statistical significance attributed to the variables of the study according to the axis of utilization of the computer in terms of (specialization, and housing), there are statistically significant due to the variable study by the axis to take advantage of the computer in terms of (gender) differences, and there are statistically significant due to the variable clubbing student libraries, in terms of variable differences (specialization).
