This study aimed at finding out the degree of commitment of private basic school principals in the capital Amman governorate to the ethics of school administration and its relation to the organizational commitment of teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (368) male and female teachers. The descriptive correlational methodology was used. Two questionnaires were developed. The first was to measure the degree of commitment of private basic school principals in the capital Amman governorate consisted of (52) items, distributed on five domains. The second was to measure the degree of teachers’ organizational commitment, consisted of (23) items, distributed on three domains. Validity and reliability of the two tools were assured. The findings showed the following: 1) the degree of commitment of private basic school principals in the capital Amman governorate to the ethics of school administration was medium from teachers’ point of view. 2) The degree of teacher’s organizational commitment was high from teacher’s point of view. 3) There was a significant positive correlational relationship at (α ≤ 0.05) between the total score of school administration questionnaire and the total score of teacher’s organizational commitment questionnaire, as well as their domains. 4) There were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the total score of school administration questionnaire and all its domains attributed to sex variable, except “the ethics of the principal with students "domain, in favor of male teachers. 5) There were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the total score of school administration questionnaire and all its domains attributed to experience variable, except "the ethics of the principal in the administrative work" domain, in favor of (ten years and more) category, and in "the ethics of the principal towards homeland" domain in favor of (5_less than 10 years) category. 6) There were significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the total score of school administration questionnaire, “the ethics of the principal towards homeland " and " the ethics of the principal with teachers “domains in favor of humanitarian disciplines. 7) There were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the total score of teacher’s organizational commitment questionnaire and all its domains attributed to sex variable. 8) There were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the total score of teacher’s organizational commitment questionnaire and all its domains attributed to experience and disciplines variables, except directional commitment domain.
