The aim of study is to detect the effect of building and teaching an electronic course on "The course of Islam and community building" on the student’ achievements at Qasim University for the school year 2016/2017. A selected sample of 100 female students was tested. They have been divided into two groups: a control group 50 students who studied the course through the ordinary book, and an experimental group 50 students who studied the course through the electronic curriculum on the Black Board system that has been built and taught by the researcher. And to achieve this study goal, an achievement test that was prepared by an expert committee specialized in test construction had been used. The results revealed significant statistical differences (α=0.05) between the control and experimental groups’ average grades in favor of the experimental group at the post-implementation of the achievement test. In light of these results, the researcher recommended the necessity to encourage the faculty teaching members to build and teach electronic courses which will stimulate students` motivation to learn.
