This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a career counseling program based on the theoretical developmental approach in order to raise the level of career awareness among technical college students in Saudi Arabia. The study sample consisted of 32 students from the technical colleges students in Tabouk, who were distributed randomly into two groups, the experimental group and control group so that each group consisted of (16 students). To achieve the objectives of the study, a career counseling program based on the developmental theoretical approach in career counseling, was developed and applied to experimental group, and a scale of career awareness was applied to the two groups before and after the application of the counseling program to the experimental group. The Study concluded that there were significant differences between the experimental and control groups in raising the level of carrier awareness in favor of the experimental group. Also, the results assured the effectiveness of the career counseling program after one month from the termination of the program. (Published Abstract)
