عندما تنتظم مجموعة من الأفراد من أجل تحقيق هدف معين، يصبح من الضروري عندئذ أن تكون هناك إدارة تعمل على تهيئة الظروف، وتنظيم الجهود من أجل الوصول إلى الأهداف المطلوبة. ووظيفة الإدارة ضرورية لتحقيق الأهداف، وهي لا تخص شخصا واحدا في المؤسسة، بل تمتد إلى كل الأفراد في جميع المستويات، وأنها إذا نجحت في إيجاد التنسيق بين الوظائف، وتهيئة الأجواء المناسبة للعمل، ضمنت بالتالي تحقيق الأهداف، فالإدارة إذن هي معيار للنجاح أو للفشل. والمدرسة كتنظيم لمجموعة من الأفراد لا بد لها من إدارة توجهها، شأنها في ذلك شأن أية مؤسسة أخرى، ولكنها في حاجة إلى إدارة تتناسب مع طبيعة نشاطاتها التعليمية، بصفتها تمارس مهنة تتولى إعداد الإنسان، ولهذا ينبغي أن تسود فيها علاقة من نوع خاص، تتفق مع طبيعة المهنة. When a group of individuals organized to achieve a certain goal, it is essential that there be management of working conditions, and organize efforts to reach the targets. And the management function is essential for achieving the goals, they do not belong to one person, but to all individuals at all levels, and if they succeeded in creating a coordination between the posts, and create a good atmosphere for working, ensured the achievement of goals, then management is a standard for success. The school as an organization for a group of individuals must manage its orientation, like any other institution, but in need of educational activities to suit the Administration, as a practicing preparing, and that should prevail in a particular relationship, consistent with the nature of the profession.
