استهدفت الدراسة تشخيص واقع استخدام وتوظيف شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي لدى معلمات العلوم للمرحلة المتوسطة، في تعليم وتعلم العلوم، ومن ثم تقديم تصور مقترح وإطار مرجعي مستقبلي لتوظيف شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعليم وتعلم العلوم، لذا تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 60 معلمة من معلمات العلوم للمرحلة المتوسطة، تم تشخيص واقع استخدامهن لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعليم وتعلم العلوم من خلال استبانة الكترونية من إعداد الباحثة. وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن واقع توظيف معلمات علوم المرحلة المتوسطة لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعليم وتعلم العلوم متدن؛ كما يقيسها المتوسط الوزني لاستجابات عينة الدراسة. كما توصلت النتائج إلى أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات معلمات المرحلة المتوسطة عينة الدراسة على مدى توظيف شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تعليم العلوم حسب متغير (سنوات الخبرة، والدورات التدريبية). This study aimed to diagnosis the reality of the use and employing of social networks among science teachers at intermediate stage in teaching and learning of science, and then to provide a proposed conception, and frame reference for future employment social networks in teaching and learning of science. The researcher used a descriptive analytical approach. The sample of the study consisted of 60 teachers science in intermediate stage, it was diagnosed use of social networks in teaching and learning science through using an electronic questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The results of the study showed that reality employing teachers science at intermediate stage to social networks was Low, according to the weighted mean for the Responses sample study. The results also showed that there were no significant statistical differences between the responses teachers of the intermediate stage among sample study over the employment of social networks in teaching science education due to the variable (years of experience, and training courses).
