AU - فلاته، عائشة بنت بكر آدام AB - The purpose of the study was to identify the degree of practicing strategic leadership among the leaders of kindergartens institutions in the city of Makkah Al Mukarramah from the point of view of the deputy directors of the governmental kindergartens. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method, the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data from the study populations. The study was applied to the whole population for its small size, which is the total of (37) deputy director. After analyzing the data, the results of the study revealed the following: the degree of practicing strategic leadership among the kindergarten leaders from the point of view of the deputy director was very high, the mean of the total score was (4.31) with a standard deviation of (0.54 )and the values of the arithmetic averages was (4.381) for the field of strategic direction and ranked first in the ranking (4.37) for the field of promotion of organizational culture and came in second place (4.35) for the field of emphasis in ethical practices ranked third and (4,22) for the field of development of human capital in the fourth rank and (4.21) for the field of investment and competitiveness in the fifth place. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended several recommendations to strengthen the practice of strategic leadership and recommended future studies to complement the scientific effort of the current study.
