The present study aimed to identify the role of school principals in providing happy workplaces for workers in the basic education stage in North- Alsharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman in light of the Great Place to Work® Institute model, study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (500) teachers. The findings of the study showed that the role of school principals in providing happy workplaces for workers in the basic education stage in North- Alsharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman in light of the Great Place to Work® Institute model was came generally low degree. They also came low degree of all fields: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, pride, and Camaraderie. Results also showed that there were no significant differences at (α≤0.05) in the study variables which are academic level, years of experience and Job title, as for the sex variable, found these differences in the fields of credibility, respect, and for the benefit of males.
