The present study aimed at investigating The reality of the school performance programs among elementary school principals in the state of kuwait, based on the variables of: gender, qualification, and years of experience. The sample of the study was (213) male and female principals from the state of Kuwait, To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher constructed a questionnaire which consisted of (39) items distributed on four domains: administration, teachers, school environment and local community. Descriptive statistics and ANCOVA were used to analyze the principals’ responses on the four domains of the questionnaire. The results showed that the extent of he reality of the school performance programs among elementary school principals in the state of kuwai was moderate on the domains of the questionnaire: administration, teachers, local community, and school environment, respectively. The results further showed that only significant differences (at a≤ 0.05) were found on the variable of gender on the domains of teachers and in favor of those who females, and showed that only significant differences (at a≤ 0.05) were found on the variable of qualification on the domains of teachers in favor of those who have bacaloreus. No statistically significant differences (at a≤ 0.05) were found on the variables of years of experience on all domains. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the Ministry of Education in Kuwait gives the princeples courses of selfe evalueate of educational indicators in the evaluation of the project to improve the performance of schools to develop the educational process and strengthen the role of the school leade.
