The study aimed to investigating the effect of an educational program based identifying the mathematical problems in the mathematical thinking and the motivation for the tenth grade student’s in Jordan, The study's Community was formed of all tenth grade student's in Jordan for the year 2017/2018, To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher chose a sample of Forty eight (48) tenth grade students in directorate of education of Marka, The sample of the study was selected purposed because of the researches job as a teacher of this sample, the sample was divided into two equal groups, The first group was an experimental and formed of (24) tenth grade students, This group studied using an educational program based on identifying the mathematical problems, The second one the control group consisted of (24) tenth grade students, This group studied using the traditional way, The study's results have shown that there is a statistically significant difference at the significance level (a= 0.05) between the experimented and the control group in the mathematical thinking test, The results were in favor of the experimental group which was taught by using an educational program based on identifying the mathematical problems, Result also showed that There is a statistically significant difference at the significance level (a= 0.05) between the experimental and the control group in the levels of the motivation, the results were in favor of the experimental group which was taught by using an educational program based on identifying the mathematical problems.
