This study aimed to identify the research of the masters students in curricula and instruction departments in Jordanian Universities, phenomenological study. The study sample consisted of 43 students were chosen intended of four Jordanian universities. Two study tools in the test measures the competencies of educational research from 40 items prepared by the researcher, the newspaper interview, and it concluded that the results of the study to the existence of obstacles in front of MBA students to conduct educational research in varying degrees, between very high and low, vary depending on the path of the program and the type of specialization in the undergraduate; 21 humanitarian disciplines, 22 scientific, and indicated that there were statistically significant differences on the achievement test in favor of the thesis path with students scientific disciplines in undergraduate. In light of finding the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including: the necessity of focusing on the research component of the student through the reconsideration of the structure of master’s programs, and adding a compulsory course in Educational Statistics.
