The study aimed to identify the degree of the list of the political concepts in the curriculum of the secondary schools applying the curriculum system in the light of the social studies, then prepare a suggested imagination of how to embed these concepts in the curriculum. To achieve the objective of the study the researcher used descriptive and analytical approach to gather information and then analyze the content of the course according to the proposed list of concepts which was used as a measurement to the degree of including these concepts in the social studies curriculum. The researcher also used the statistical processing and the percentages. The study has shown that there are 23 political concepts out of 68 concepts included in the curriculum while there were 45 unincluded political concepts that should be included. The researcher has prepared a proposal of how to include the suggested political concepts in the curriculum of the social studies in the secondary schools applying the curriculum system and has shown it to a number of specialists of teachers and supervisors to adjust the perception and validity. The study has recommended the necessity of reconsidering the content of the social studies and the necessity of including the suggested political concepts in the list prepared by the researcher. The study has also recommended that the educational departments should pay more attention to the teachers of the social studies and provide them with training courses that will help them in how to extract political concepts from the curriculum and in how to teach these concepts to the students in the teaching process so that they can benefit from these concepts in their lives.
