The study aimed to identify the extent to which faculty members and their assistants in the Faculty of Education of Seiyun University adhere to the ethics of the university teaching profession from their point of view. The researchers used the analytical descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the study, and the study sample consisted of (29) faculty members and their assistants, who were randomly selected from the Faculty of Education, Seiyun University. After ensuring the validity and reliability of the study tool, which is a questionnaire prepared for collecting information, and after statistical analysis of the data, the study concluded: The general average of the commitment of faculty members and their assistants in the Faculty of Education of Seiyun University to the ethics of the university teaching profession from their point of view was (3.7833), which is a large extent of commitment, as the field of ethics came first towards (students), then towards (their colleagues), and then towards two processes (teaching and learning), and the last domain is the field of ethics towards (their responsibilities) The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a≤0.05) in the estimates of the sample members of the extent of commitment of faculty members and their assistants at Seiyun University to the fields of ethics of the university teaching profession due to the variables: (gender, academic qualification, years of experience), Except in the field of ethics towards (their colleagues) only, and it was in favor of the category whose years of experience are (5-10). The researchers made a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Urging faculty members and their assistants to continuously diversify the use of modern methods and techniques in teaching, developing social and human relations between faculty members and their assistants, and the University of Seiyun to spread professional ethics among the ranks of faculty members and assisting staff through training and publications.
