The study aimed to reveal the ways to improve the process of supervising scientific theses and Research projects at the Islamic University in Madinah from the point of view of faculty members. It aimed also to reveal the significance of the differences in the responses of the study sample according to the variables of the academic degree, college, and the number of years of experience. The study adopted a descriptive and analytical approach. The researcher applied a questionnaire to a random sample of (210) faculty members. The results showed that the faculty members of the Islamic University in Madinah agreed on the proposed ways to improve the process of supervising scientific theses and Research projects from to a very high extent, with an arithmetic mean of 4.35. The domain of Supervisor-related improvements came first, followed by the improvements related to the researcher student, and finally the improvements related to the supervision system. The greatest improvement related to the supervision system was diversifying supervisors' specializations to meet students' needs and publishing the organized rules of the supervision process. The greatest improvement related to the supervisor was the creation of positive communication between the supervisor and the researcher student, and the supervisor eagerness to provide useful guidance to graduate students. The greatest improvement related to the researcher student was to educate graduate students about intellectual property rights, and to improve their modern-technology skills. The study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean responses of the study sample due to the difference in the academic degree and the years of experience. While there were statistically significant differences due to the difference of the college variable, in favor of the faculty of Sharia. The study also proved differences in the improvement ways related to the researcher student in favor of the faculty members who are professors according to the academic degree variable.
