The current research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program in hearing discrimination skills for hearing-impaired children. The quasi-experimental approach was used; the two-group design; an experimental group and a control group, and the pre, post and follow-up measurement of the study variables. The study sample also included (20) kindergarten children at the "Khaled bin Al-Walid Joint School" in Beni Suef Governorate, and the children were divided into two groups; An experimental group of (10) children were exposed to the training program, and a control group of (10) children were not exposed to the training programme. The study relied on the following tools: a measure of receptive language skills for hearing-impaired children prepared by the researcher, the training program prepared by the researcher, using appropriate statistical methods (Mann-Whitney test, Wilcoxon test) and using the SPSS statistical program (V.12) to perform all statistical treatments. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the training program in developing some receptive language skills for children with hearing impairments among children of the experimental group.
