The current research is to identify the role of using electronic blogs on developing self-learning skills in the areas of self-learning skills for secondary school students, in addition to revealing some of the obstacles that prevent the use of electronic blogs, using the descriptive survey method through the application of (questionnaire) during the semester. The second for the year 1443 AH on a sample of (70) female teachers of the subject of research skills and sources of information at the secondary stage in the city of Makkah, who were randomly selected. The research reached several results, the most important of which are: The importance of using electronic blogs in facilitating the process of e-learning and developing self-learning skills came to a high degree, and the views of the teachers for each of the (experience-qualification) variables towards the role of using blogs in facilitating the e-learning process and developing self-learning skills did not appear to have any impact. The research also found (9) obstacles that refer to the use of electronic blogs among secondary school students from the teachers' point of view. (Published abstract)
