To achieve the study objectives and answer the questions, the researcher followed the descriptive correlational approach. In this study, a total of 200 students (100 females) (100 males) in grade 3 completed measures of phonological processing, morphological awareness, orthographic knowledge, and word reading accuracy and fluency and text reading fluency. The results showed that phonological processing and orthographic knowledge accounted for significant variance in text reading fluency and word reading fluency.
