The study was aimed to identifying the reality of the practices of management by wandering around by the principals in Al - Baha area schools, also the study was aimed to identifying the ways for development of management by wandering by the principals of Al - Baha area schools. The study adopted the prescriptive methodology, it also used the forward-looking methodology. The study population consisted of all schools’ principals in Al-Baha area schools with number 781 principals. the researcher followed a comprehensive survey method where the questionnaire was distributed to all members of the study population. The data was analyzed through the Statistical Analysis Program (SPSS). The results showed that the practices of management by wandering around by the principals in Al - Baha area schools are with an average arithmetic (4174), a standard deviation (1117), and the ways for development of management by wandering by Al - Baha area schools principals with a very high average arithmetic (41.4), and a standard deviation (1188). The study recommended that training sessions targeting principals in management by wandering in terms of theoretical concepts and practical procedures, and that exchange visits be undertaken between single-governorate schools to exchange managerial experiences among principals in applying management by wandering in their schools.
