تقنين مقياس الاتجاه نحو الإنتحال العلمي في البحوث التربوية والنفسية في البيئة العمانية

The present study aimed at validating the attitude towards plagiarism (ATP) questionnaire Mavrinac, Bilic-Zulle, & Petrovecki, 2010) in the Omani context. ATP questionnaire is adapted because it consists of 12 items with 5-point Likert scale format (strongly disagree=1 to strongly agree=5). A sample of 153 students enrolled in Sultan Qaboos University (79 males & 74 females) were selected using convenient sampling technique. Construct validity was ensured using exploratory factor analysis which yielded 3-factor structure. Using Amos 22 software, confirmatory factor analysis was performed and resulted in perfect goodness of fit indices. Internal consistency reliability was verified via Cronbach’s alpha (α=0.835), and McDonald’s omega (ω=0.836). Taken together, overall results indicated that the ATP questionnaire has adequate validity and reliability in Omani context. (Published abstract)
