The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of using a flipped classroom strategy on developing computer course achievement among female students at Kuwait University during the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the study consisted of 60 female students equally divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. For the purpose of this study, a thirteen-week teaching program was designed to cover the main task and computer course objective. Instructional videos were used with only one group of students. Both groups completed a pretest and posttest, which were analyzed statistically using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The findings revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores in favor of the students in the experimental group. Furthermore, the study showed that using flipped learning strategy has an effective in developing the achievement of the computer course. The study concludes with recommendations for future research in different contexts. (Published abstract)
