The current study aimed to identify the extent to which the concepts of financial culture are included in the books of national and civic education for the upper basic stage in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. It consisted of a content analysis card, which included (22) concepts related to financial culture, and the validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed. The results of this study showed that the total number of iterations combined amounted to (50) iterations for the books combined, with a low percentage, as the National and Civic Education book for the tenth grade, with a part, got the highest iterations, reaching (21) iterations, followed by the National and Civic Education book for the ninth grade, with a part. Its repetitions amounted to (19) repetitions, followed by the book of National and Civic Education for the eighth grade in a part, as its repetitions amounted to (10) repetitions. The two concepts (defining rights and agreement) got the highest repetitions, and the concepts (work, profession, payment, donation, purchase, income, spending) were not completely included in the three books. Include concepts related to financial literacy in social and national education textbooks for the eighth, ninth and tenth grades, and conduct studies similar to this study. (Author’s abstract)
