This study aimed to investigate the effect of Utilizing the “smart” learning station strategy in developing the future thinking skills of ninth-grade female students in geography compared to the current used method. The researcher followed the quasi-experimental method for its suitability to the nature of this study. The research sample consisted of two classes (two groups) that were randomly chosen of the three ninth grade classes from Al Alimat Secondary School for Girls in Mafraq Governorate, for the second semester of the 2022/2021 academic year, one of the two groups was taught using the smart learning stations strategy, and the other group was taught using the normal classroom method. To achieve the study objectives, a “future thinking skill test” was executed. The test consisted of (16) essay-type questions that measure future thinking skills (prediction, anticipation, visualization, problem solving). This test was prepared by the researcher and it was used after verifying its validity and reliability. After conducting the statistical analyzes, the results showed that there were some differences that has statistical significant (α = 0.05) in the development of future thinking skills for the ninth grade female students in the geography subject, that were attributed to the teaching strategy that was used in the classroom, The differences came in favor of the experimental group (using the “smart” learning stations strategy). The study concluded with the teachers’ recommendation to use “smart” learning stations in teaching in general, geography in particular, and to hold training courses to train teachers on how to apply and employ this method in the educational learning process. The study also recommended the necessity to develop students’ future thinking skills. (Author’s abstract)
