This study seeks to evaluate the obstacles facing the management of extracurricular sport activities and their relationship to organizational commitment among physical education teachers. These obstacles are the most straightforward issues encountered by high school tutors in the Wilaya of Biskra. Furthermore, this work attempts to verify the presence of statistically-significant differences in evaluating organizational commitment and obstacles in relation to qualification levels and experience years. It also seeks to bring about the renovation and development required for extra-curricular sports to keep up with the rapid changes in modern life. Through reviewing the state of extra-curricular sport activities, we noticed issues that impact - directly or indirectly - school sports development, and hinder its related goals achievement. This, consequently, demonstrates the negative effects on the sports cause overall, which led us to studythese issues with the hope of finding appropriate solutions. In addition, organizational commitment strengthens the teacher’s adherence to his/her work; it pushes them towards investing substantial effort in its success, nurtures a desire to remain in said line of work, and prolongs their time in the line. It also reduces negative behaviors such as negligence, mediocrity, absence, and frustration. Excellence and commitment are, therefore, attained when educational institutions achieve their goals both efficiently and effectively. This pushed us to study commitment levels among physical education teachers when it comes to their job and their eagerness to actualize sports activities despite the circumstances and impediments facing them. Statement of the Problem: Is there a relationship between the constraints facing extra-curricular sports and organizational commitment, at the level of significance (0.05≥ α), among high school physical education teachers of secondary schools in the Wilaya of Biskra? Research Method: The used research method is descriptive. Study Population: The population for this study consists of the entirety of high school physical education teachers in the Wilaya of Biskra, numbering 124 during the 2019/2020 school year. Sampling: Forms were distributed among 80 physical education teachers; roughly 64.5% of the population. The sample was targeted on the basis of the teachers being active participants in the School Sport Association of the Wilaya of Biskra. This work relies mainly on two questionnaires directed at high school physical education teachers with each containing: A questionnaire on the obstacles facing extra-curricular sports containing (50) statements divided into four sections: The administrative and technical aspect, resources and incentives, management and community viewpoints, and the formation and educational technology aspect. A questionnaire on organizational commitment containing (27) statements divided into three sections: Normative commitment, affective commitment, and continuance commitment. After data collection, the data was then entered into (SPSS), and the following statistical analysis methods were performed: Arithmetic means, frequency distribution, percentages, standard deviations, relative weights analysis. Results of the Study: important results of the study: Based on the results of the study, the effect of the obstacles faced by extra-curricular sports management on organizational commitment. This is most evident in the procedural continuation of sports inside and outside educational institutions, and what it demonstrates via the results of organizational commitment among teachers.to uncover the reality of the impact of obstacles to managing extra-curricular sports activities on organizational commitment، and it is evident through the progress of sports activities inside and outside educational institutions and what they show through the results of the dimensions of organizational commitment prevailing among teachers and the findings of the study. The research reached several results, the most important of which is the existence of obstacles to a very high degree in the management of extra-curricular sports activities among teachers of physical education and sports in the secondary phase، and the organizational commitment was to a large degree in the appreciation of their presence among the professors. The study revealed an inverse correlation between obstacles to extracurricular sports activities and organizational commitment at a significance level (0.05≥α) At the teachers of physical education and sports for secondary schools in the wilaya of Biskra.
