The research aims to identify the degree of awareness of media values by senior teachers in the schools of Muscat Governorate in Sultanate of Oman. Action research methodology has been used in the questionnaire by the researcher. The questionnaire consisted of (3) domains, namely the first domain is speech, dialogue, communication with others, the second is dealing with the media and modern communication technologies, and investing modern media of communication in promoting cultural identity and spreading the values of Islam), and it consisted of (22) paragraphs distributed over the domains, their reliability and validity have been confirmed. The population in the research consisted of senior male and female teachers in Muscat Governorate in Sultanate of Oman. The questionnaire was distributed to the Sample members (72) male and female Senior teachers who were included in the training program at the Specialized Institute. Statistical procedures represented in arithmetic means and standard deviations were applied. The research results indicate that the degree of awareness of media values by senior teachers is (high), while the values under each domain ranged between the minimum in the domain of dealing with social communication applications in the value of: employ programs and applications that assists me to confront cultural invasion) with an average of (3.60). The maximum results in the domain of investing modern media of communication in promoting cultural identity and spreading the values of Islam, in my values: (I have the ability to reject racial discrimination and religious and sectarian intolerance), and (I have strong value of belonging to the homeland and defending its interests) with an average of (4.43). The researcher recommends the following in light of the previous findings: 1) Presenting the results of the research to the Department of Supporting Programs at the Specialized Institute for Vocational Training for Teachers and discussing the mechanism of applying the tool to the senior teachers in other educational regions in the Sultanate, to understand their awareness of media values and the most prominent challenges they have in dealing with these values, integrating them into the curricula and instilling them in the students. 2) Using the results and the questionnaire designed by the researcher in developing the training material for Senior Teachers Program.
