This study aimed to uncover the best causal model that shows direct and indirect effects between fluid intelligence, working memory, and cognitive flexibility among gifted students with learning disabilities at the elementary stage, by comparing the indicators of goodness of conformity of two proposed models; The first model is mediated by the working memory, the relationship between fluid intelligence and cognitive flexibility, and the second model mediates fluid intelligence the relationship between working memory and cognitive flexibility. The study sample consisted of (26) gifted students with learning disabilities in the elementary stage in Riyadh. The tools of the study were a scale Cognitive flexibility (by the researcher), working memory test (by the researcher) and Color sequential Matrix Test for "John Raven". The study found that there are a positive statistically significant correlation between cognitive flexibility and each of the working memory and fluid intelligence of the students at the significance level of (0.01) level, The working memory variable is more predictive of cognitive flexibility among the study sample than the fluid intelligence variable, According to goodness of fit indicators results showed acceptance of the first model in which the working memory mediates the relationship between fluid intelligence and cognitive flexibility.
