The aim of the current research is to identify the theoretical foundations of the continuous improvement approach as a management philosophy adopted by the Egyptian Japanese schools and to determine the requirements for applying the continuous improvement approach to develop institutional performance within the Egyptian Japanese schools and its role in achieving the quality of education and enhancing Egypt's vision 2030 and working primarily for the learner and providing an appropriate educational environment that is consistent with the goals of sustainable development. This can be achieved through the cooperation of all school staff and under the supervision of the school principal, who constantly strives to achieve a better level of performance for teachers. In addition to this, the role of the guardian is an integral part of the school system and has a key role in setting and following up school plan. So, developing performance and continuous improvement make educational institutions more stable and longer lasting, which imposes the need for conscious planning, discovering weaknesses, shortcomings and obstacles to improvement and dealing with them, and moving from traditional methods of dealing with situations and obstacles to more advanced and creative methods.
