النوموفوبيا (الخوف المرضي من فقدان الهاتف الجوال) وعلاقته بالوظائف التنفيذية لدى طلبة جامعة نجران



This study aimed to find out nomophobia (pathological fear of losing a mobile phone) and its relationship to executive functions of students of the University of Najran. To achieve the goals of the study, two tools were used: The nomophobia scale (pathological fear of losing a mobile phone) and the scale of executive functions after checking the indications of their honesty and consistency. The study tools were applied to the study sample consisting of (311) male and female students who were chosen in a simple random manner from the different colleges of the University and from different levels. The results of the study indicated that: 1) The level of nomophobia in the study sample was high. 2) The level of executive functions of the study sample individuals was low. 3) The presence of a statistically significant inverse correlation between nomophobia and the level of executive functions of the study sample individuals. 4) There are differences between nomophobia and the level of executive functions among the study sample individuals according to the gender variable in favor of males. 5) The presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in nomophobia for the benefit of scientific colleges and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the executive functions in favor of human colleges.
