The current study aimed to know Automation of electronic transactions in administrative affairs in the Information Technology Department of the General Administration for Female Education in Riyadh. To achieve the goal of the study, the qualitative approach was used, as the study tool, represented by a semi-structured interview, was used. The tool consisted of seven questions, which were employed after verifying its validity and reliability. In addition, (15) educational supervisors were interviewed as individuals for the study, and the study subjects were chosen by the intentional method. The results showed that the most important obstacles facing work while using traditional transactions are the loss or damage of those transactions, and the difficulty of archiving and retrieval of data. The results also showed that the most important steps taken to reduce the circulation of traditional transactions are to use technical systems such as computers and e-mail, and to convert forms, signatures and seals to electronic. The results showed that the most important requirements for the application of electronic automation were that it demanded the provision of technical devices, infrastructure, Internet networks, maintenance technicians and trained human cadres. The results also indicated that the most important development programs that require availability to qualify human cadres electronically are the Office programs. The results showed that the most important vision of the educational supervisors for the application of electronic transactions was that it was very good. The results also revealed the precautionary or alternative measures when electronic transactions and communication networks concerned with work stop by making an alternative plan, an electronic emergency plan, or finding an alternative platform. The results showed that the suggestions or observations for the development of electronic transactions were through intensifying courses and workshops on the mechanisms of using electronic transactions. The researcher recommends reliance on automation in the planning process, and attracting human resources to the General Administration of Girls' Education in Riyadh. And the need to provide a modern technological environment for the possibility of linking electronic transactions with units and departments of public administration.
