The current research aims to identify the administrative control and its relationship to the job performance of the principals of public schools from the perspectives of the principals themselves. The researcher used the descriptive approach, where a questionnaire was designed as a tool for data collection, and the research sample consisted of (65) principals in government schools in Jerash Governorate, and they were selected in the available way. The results indicated a (high) level of administrative control and its relationship to job performance among government school principals from the principals’ perspectives themselves. The field (planning) ranked first with a high degree, followed by the field (teachers and students) in the second place with a high degree, followed by the field (school environment) ranked third with a high degree. The results also indicated that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation at the significance level (α = 0.05) between administrative control and job performance among government school principals from the principals' point of view.
