The current research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program prepared in light of the trends of the green economy in developing environmental awareness and positive thinking among students teachers of literary division at the faculty of education to achieve this goal, the researcher followed the following procedures: 1) Develop a program based on the green economy to develop environmental awareness and positive thinking. 2) Prepare the evaluation tools such as the environmental awareness Scale, positive thinking Skills. 3) Field experimentation, then data monitoring and statistical processing, and reaching the results and interpretation and discussion. Conducting the Field experimentation, then analyzing the data statistically and discussing and interpreting results. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of a program based on the green economy to develop environmental awareness and positive thinking for student teachers at the Faculty of Education. The results obtained show that: 1) There is a statistically significant difference at the level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of students of the experimental- control groups in the post test of environmental awareness scale as a whole and in each of its dimensions in favor of the experimental group. 2) There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the research group students in the pre-post test administrations on the environmental awareness scale as a whole and in each of its dimensions in favor of the post test scores. 3) There is a statistically significant difference at the level (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of students of the experimental- control groups in the post test of positive thinking scale as a whole and in each of its dimensions in favor of the experimental group. 4) There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of the research group students in the pre-post test administrations on positive thinking Scale as a whole and in each of its dimensions in favor of the post test scores.
