The aim of the research is to identify the most prominent Algerian researchers in psychological and educational sciences at the national level, their most important research results, and the most important obstacles to psychological and educational research in Algeria. In collecting his data, the researcher relied on a questionnaire sent to professors from various universities in the country, about the references that were referred to by Algerian authors, and the most important professors who believe that they have scientific contributions in psychological and educational research. The study sample included 60 professors from various national universities. The study concluded that despite the development and expansion of the formative field in psychology and educational sciences, and the expansion of the number of professors and researchers, the names that emerged remain limited due to the poor level of research in Algerian universities in general. It also highlights the lack of interest of the majority of professors in scientific research, which is evident through their timid contributions to this research. (Published abstract)
