The study aimed to know the role of the extra-curricular activities in reinforcing mental health among the students of the basic schools from the point of view of educational counselors. The study used the descriptive methodology. A questionnaire consisting of (27) items was applied on the sample of the study which consisted of (86) male and female counselors from the Directorates of Education in the Governorate of Khan Younis and the Governorate of Alwusta. They were chosen by the stratified random method. The results revealed that the extra-curricular activities have a great role in promoting mental health among basic schools students from viewpoint Educational counselors. The study presented a number of recommendations and suggestions, including the need to increase the positive participation of students in extra-curricular activities with the encouragement of educational counselors.
