This study aimed to discover some of the causes of PTSD that affect children's development as a result of creating the effect of trauma and the aesthetics of violence that is available within various media frameworks, the study also aimed to track the efficiency of support and assistance directed at containing childhood trauma and avoiding the negative effects resulting from it; according to the possibilities and trends of a random sample of (200) fathers and mothers who are parents of children, the age group (3- 7) year. The researcher asked the sample members to answer a closed questionnaire consisting of (56) items, divided into five dimensions that meet the study’s objectives and general questions. The study found a number of results: the most important of which is the poor awareness among parents of the impact and reactions of children during the trauma phase. The results also revealed the sample's conviction of the weakness of their accurate cognitive assessment of the shock stimuli, the perception of their types, and their realistic, correct and appropriate evaluation. And an appreciation of its potential harm to their children. The results also revealed that the sample members agreed to a large degree that the media industry in the Arab world plays a very strong role in framing the harsh traumatic events among the audience who watched, listened and repeated. The results also indicated that the demographic characteristics of the respondents (such as gender, age, educational level, and occupational status) did not affect the self- beliefs of the sample members or their previous information about the effects of creating the shocking image that media adopts and dedicates as a basic element to influence the recipient, Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations and proposals directed to all official bodies represented by the media and institutions of the ministries concerned with family and child affairs and mental health care centers in order to design a strategy that helps reduce the development of trauma repercussions between groups of the audience of children receiving media material or their families.
