The main goal of this survey is to reveal the effectiveness of using active learning strategies in the development of written expression skills for a number of students as a sample of second grade students in the United Arab – Dubai. The following question: "What is the effect of active learning strategies in the development of written expression skills among Class 1- Grade 2 students in the United Arab Emirates students?" Was addressed in order to achieve the goal of this study. The 50 members of this study from Al Ibdaa School were divided into two classes. They were selected and distributed randomly. The first experimental group was taught by following the approach of active learning strategies and the class management control was in the normal way. To achieve the target of the study, the researcher has prepared assay written test. The authenticity of the test was verified and applied on the two selected groups. According to two studies after treatment. The researcher prepared educational material based on active learning strategies, in addition to that the researcher used the modern teaching methods where the student is the center of the whole educational learning process. The study output showed the existence of a( a≤0.5) statically significant difference in the development of writing skills for the benefit of students who have studied the use of active learning strategies for written expression skills development of the basic second grade students.
