The study aimed to present some types of hints through electronic mind maps in developing some computer concepts among middle school students, and the researcher used in the study the developmental approach that includes the descriptive and quasi-experimental approach, as a sample of middle school students affiliated with the education department in Madinah was selected. It consisted of (60) students, and they were distributed randomly into three groups: it consisted of (20) students in the control group, the first experimental group (text and picture) and consisted of (20) students, and the second experimental group (text) consisted of (20) students, and the measurement was done using an achievement test in the computer, where its validity and reliability were verified, and then applied before and later on to groups, and by using appropriate statistical methods, a set of results was reached, the most prominent of which was: the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages the scores of the control group students and the two experimental groups in the computer achievement test attributed to the pattern of presenting electronic mental maps (text and pictures), (text) at cognitive levels (remember - understanding - application - structure - a the degree of the college) in favor of the first experimental group, and in light of these results a set of recommendations were presented, the most important of which are: the need to pay attention to teaching the computer course in the middle stage through the use of electronic mental maps (text and image) that facilitate the learners to acquire the educational experiences provided to them, and the ability to think and act on improving the educational process in general and the computer in particular.
