This research aims to study the potential of the scenes of violence shown in television news bulletins in affecting the teenagers’ behavior. Thus, a sample of 200 students has been chosen from the 11th grade in some schools in Beirut to participate in this study. Subsequently, the study relied on a descriptive analytical approach. the sample was subjected to a survey that closely examines the relationship between the scenes of violence and the students’ personality and reasoning. The results obtained, were combined, and presented in the form of tables for analysis and evaluation in order to verify the study hypotheses. The study findings reveal that scenes of violence are effective in the development of psychological and behavioral disorders in adolescents, as it has emerged that those who witness violence, murder and war feel sadness, fear and anxiety, and their feelings become insensitive to surrounding stimuli.
